BER inc
Announces the Upcoming Launch of a
New Website Design for Academy Award
winner Ernest Thompson
January 15, 2008, Mattapoisett, MA—BER
inc, a communications firm
specializing in corporate branding,
proudly announces the upcoming
launch of a new identity and website
design for writer, director, and
actor Ernest Thompson.
Mr. Thompson is the author of ON
GOLDEN POND, back on Broadway with
James Earl Jones and Leslie Uggams
two seasons ago, followed by a
national tour starring Tom Bosley
and Michael Learned. The play
currently is a smash hit in Israel,
is touring Italy, and will open in
Paris this spring, followed by
productions in Athens, Madrid and
Sidney. Translated into 26
languages, ON GOLDEN POND has played
in more than forty countries. Mr.
Thompson’s film adaptation earned
him an Academy Award, as well as the
Golden Globe and Writers Guild
Awards, and the live broadcast of
the play, with Julie Andrews and
Christopher Plummer, was one of the
most viewed plays in television
history. The writer and/or director
of many other films and plays, Mr.
Thompson’s upcoming projects include
the pre-New York run of AX OF LOVE
at the Boston Center for the Arts in
May and the films ELYSIAN FARM and
THE LOVE LINE, in which Mr. Thompson
also appears as an actor.
BER inc designed an identity that
reflects Mr. Thompson’s world-renown
status, creativity, and craft. The
website, which is expected to be
live in February of 2008, features a
trilateral color scheme,
representing both traditional and
modern elements associated with the
entertainment business. Geometric
extensions of the home page
photograph quietly extend into the
black page headers, creating a klieg
light effect, to symbolize Mr.
Thompson’s profession. White acts as
a clear and bright backdrop for
content, fostering readability.
Award-winning gold shines with an
honorable neutrality that modestly
yet powerfully represents Mr.
Thompson’s many recognized
accomplishments. The website will
showcase Mr. Thompson’s work and
upcoming events. |
